The diary of a crazy cat lady in training
Kittens Update…
Today was a big day for Einstein and Dyson. Today I closed all the bedroom doors (except for mine) as well as the basement door and let them have free reign over the house. It’s been a bit of an exciting day for Bijoux, Simon, and Gracie, but they’re all getting along and figuring out boundaries. They’ve been having a lot of fun running around after each other then taking a community nap before starting the whole process again. I feel a lot better about letting them out of the bathroom on my days off because as they grow bigger it feels more cramped in there. I want them to be able to run around and exercise those muscles so they can get big and strong. Today they actually jumped up onto the dining room chairs to get on top of the table!! They’re really starting to figure out the whole jumping thing. It makes my job a lot harder but it’s good to see them progressing so well. Tonight I have to give them a brush with a flea comb to try to remove the dead eggs on their fur. I thought they’d just fall right off once they got the flea medication, but you have to use soapy water and dip the comb in it in order for the eggs to detach from the fur. The more you know. Their next booster shots are coming up again soon so if I can’t figure it out I’ll just make the vet do it. lol She’s getting enough of my money so I might as well make her work for it. I’m going to get her to flush out Einstein’s ears too. Well that’s about it for now. I’ll be getting them weighed again at their next booster appointment, but I can tell you they’ve put on more weight and are going through food faster than I can afford it. In a few more weeks I’ll be switching to a solid kibble diet with wet food only being a treat, just like it is for Simon and Bijoux.
